Kanye West’s Wireless Festival has been cancelled after the British government’s decision to block the U.S. rapper from entering the United Kingdom.

Authorities say West, known commonly as "Ye," was denied entry to the U.K. on the grounds that his presence would not be conducive to the public good.

West has drawn global backlash over the last few years after making antisemitic comments, music, merchandise, and for celebrating Nazism.

In January, West apologized for his actions in the Wall Street Journal, attributing them to an undiagnosed brain injury and untreated bipolar disorder.

Wireless Festival, scheduled between July 10-12 at London’s Finsbury Park, was projected to bring in 150,000 fans.
