White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said during a Wednesday afternoon press conference that negotiation talks between Iran and the United States are set to take place in Pakistan’s capital of Islamabad this weekend.

Leavitt said Trump is dispatching his negotiation team lead by Vice President JD Vance, Middle East special envoy Steven Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner to conduct the talks days after a two-week ceasefire deal was said to have been reached.
