One of U.S. President Donald Trump’s main justifications for the trade war is protecting American manufacturing.

He has slapped punishing steel tariffs on countries like Canada to shield U.S. companies from outside competition.

But a new report has found he’s received millions of dollars’ worth of steel from the world’s second-largest steel maker for his controversial White House upgrade.
