Space enthusiasts gather on a San Diego beach to watch the Artemis II crew make their high-stakes re-entry and splashdown, the final and perhaps most risky step of their historic 10-day journey around the Moon. Earlier this week, Americans Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch, along with Canadian Jeremy Hansen, voyaged further from Earth than any human before in a mission considered a key stepping stone towards eventual crewed lunar landings.
