From MS NOW.
MS NOW has confirmed that a former staff member is accusing California Congressman and gubernatorial candidate Eric Swalwell of sexual assault.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the woman alleges Swalwell assaulted her twice when she was too intoxicated to give consent. The newspaper says it confirmed parts of her story by speaking with family and friends who say they heard about the alleged incidents at the time. CNN reports that three other women have also accused Swalwell of sexual misconduct. MS NOW has not independently confirmed these claims.
Swalwell has denied any wrongdoing.
