Little traffic is entering and leaving Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman on the first full day of the US blockade, according to ship-tracking data.

The Malawi-flagged Chinese-owned tanker Rich Starry passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, according to MarineTraffic data.

According to data shared with CNN by Kpler, it was carrying a cargo of methanol and its next port country was listed as China.
