U.S. President Donald Trump now says peace talks between his country and Iran could resume this week. In the meantime, the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz remains.

As Redmond Shannon reports, it’s widely believed Trump is now trying to use the strait as a bargaining tool after originally demanding Iran reopen the critical shipping route.
