The sound of an explosion is heard on the outskirts of the 450-metre security perimeter established during a large-scale operation to defuse a Second World War bomb discovered on a building site in Colombes. After attempts to remove the bomb’s detonator failed at midday, the authorities stated that it would be buried and destroyed by detonation.
