Reflex Robotics, founded by a team of MIT alumni, is building a general-purpose humanoid designed to automate warehouse and factory work. Rather than bipedal legs, they use a wheeled base, which they claim is 2–3x cheaper, enables 5x longer battery life (16+ hours), and is passively stable. The robots are vertically integrated, designed in-house, and can be remotely controlled by human operators who intervene when needed.
Would you have one of these robots do your chores?
