Winter is coming again in Saskatoon as Environment Canada issues major spring storm alert

Winter weather isn’t over yet, with much of the province waking up to a variety of weather alerts. Environment Canada issued alerts Wednesday morning for a major spring storm.
 
The far north is expected to receive the bulk of the snow, with 30-50cm come the weekend. The heaviest snow is set to fall from Wednesday into Thursday.
 
These northern areas can see up to 15-25mm of rain before changing to 10-30cm of snow, with 40cm possible by the weekend.
