Countries around the world have begun restricting social media access for children, but researcher Sara Wilford, from the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility at De Montfort University, says older generations are also just as vulnerable to disinformation on the internet. Wilford says many Gen Xers and Boomers feel overlooked on social media and have blind spots in their online literacy.
