It’s been decades since humanity first set foot on the moon. Now, with days until launch, a crew of four will fly around the moon to test the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft.

Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Jeremy Hansen are spending their last few days on solid ground before blasting into space and going further from Earth than anyone in history.

The Artemis II mission objectives are to conduct experiments that will pave the way for future missions to the moon and deep-space exploration. Nathaniel Dove reports.
