Each year in Japan, racers take part in the office chair Grand Prix.
This endurance race sees teams speed backwards around a circuit, using their feet to push themselves on unmodified store-bought office chairs.
Founded in 2010 and inspired by the Le Mans car race in France, participants say it is harder than it looks and hope the race will soon be held around the globe.
