Aftermath of an Israeli strike that hit the key Qasmiyeh bridge over Lebanon’s Litani River, near the southern city of Tyre, following a warning by the Israeli military. The bridge had previously been struck on March 23, 2026. Lebanon declared a national day of mourning on Thursday after Israeli strikes pummelled the country, killing nearly 200 people and calling into question the ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
