While Canadian astronaut Jenni Gibbons is not part of the Artemis II team orbiting the moon, she’s playing a critical role from Earth, ensuring the historic, record-breaking lunar mission goes smoothly.

Gibbons was also going to fly in place of fellow Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen in the event he couldn’t go.
