Dr. Bernard Lafayette Jr., the civil rights activist who was a driving force behind many of the historic days that changed America in the 20th century, has died at 85. Lafayette helped to create the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, soon becoming a trusted aide to Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
