Former government loyalist turned opponent Peter Magyar is well ahead in independent polling for an April 12th general election, but Orban has some friends in high places, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, who has expressed his personal support. Why are Washington, Moscow and Brussels all watching the vote in such a small European country so closely?
