“If not Gaza, then Iran, then Lebanon”: Hundreds of Israelis protest Netanyahu’s Middle East wars

From Global News.

Hundreds of Israeli anti-government protesters rallied in Tel Aviv on Saturday at Habima Square, against Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and called for an end to all the wars by Israel in the Middle East.

U.S. and Iranian negotiators held their highest-level talks in half a century on Saturday in Islamabad to try to end their six-week war, even as President Donald Trump said his military was clearing the Strait of Hormuz.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday he has instructed Israel to begin peace talks with Lebanon that would include disarming Hezbollah.

"Netanyahu and Trump promise us the reality of a never-ending war, if not in Gaza, then in Iran and if not in Iran, then in Lebanon. And when there will be a ceasefire in Lebanon, we will go back to Gaza again," a protester, Uri Weltmann said.
