Oil prices have steadily increased since the start of the Iran war, pushing gas prices to their highest levels in Canada since 2022. But Iran’s stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz is affecting more than the price at the pumps.
"It affects everything, from the top-down," one Nova Scotia resident said after filling up her gas tank.
