Iranian forces are believed to have shot down two American jets — an F-15E fighter jet and an A-10 Warthog, a U.S. official with knowledge of the matter told MS NOW.

Additionally, at least one Black Hawk helicopter was fired on and several of its crew members were injured while they searched for the missing American service member who was in the F-15E that had been shot down, the same U.S. official told MS NOW. David Rohde has the latest.
