One day out from the scheduled and highly-anticipated launch of the Orion spacecraft for Artemis II — NASA’s 10-day crewed lunar flyby mission — Jeff Spaulding, the operation’s senior test director, said there was “a lot of excitement” from his team as preparations for NASA’s first journey to the moon in over five decades, enters its final stages.
