From BBC News.
Investors appear to be waiting to see which way US President Donald Trump will take the conflict in Iran, with European stock markets flat on Monday morning and Brent crude oil hanging around $115 per barrel.
That is a jump from the closing price of Brent crude on Friday, but still below a peak on 18 March of $119.50.
Trump says the US is in "serious" discussions with the "new and more reasonable" regime in Iran but has warned if a ceasefire is not agreed, the US will hit sites it has "purposefully not yet ‘touched’".
