Two GTA mayors are urging Ontario Premier Doug Ford to reverse course on changes to conservation.

This as the Ford government is looking to amalgamate dozens of conservation authorities in a move it says will speed up housing development.

The mayors of both Brampton and Mississauga say the decision will slow things down.
