Nationalist Viktor Orban, who has led Hungary as prime minister for 16 years, has lost the Hungarian elections to Peter Magyar.
Tisza, the party of conservative Magyar, secured a two-thirds majority.
A former government insider and political newcomer, Magyar said “Hungary has made history”, with voter turnout reaching almost 80 percent.
