The Twike 5 seats two passengers side by side, hits a top speed of over 118 mph, and offers a range of more than 373 miles on a single charge. Rather than a steering wheel, the driver uses joysticks. Pedals are built in so riders can supplement the battery and push the range even further. Energy consumption sits at just 7 kWh per 62 miles, making it one of the most efficient enclosed vehicles on the planet.

Originally conceived by students at ETH Zurich for the 1986 World Expo in Vancouver, the Twike has quietly evolved from a pedal-powered curiosity into a genuine high-performance electric vehicle.
