Poilievre calls on Liberals to cancel high-speed rail plan, criticizes gun buyback program

At a news conference Tuesday, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre announced that his party opposes the Liberal government’s proposed Alto rail project and called on the Liberals to cancel it. The rail plan is projected to cost up to $90 billion, connecting Toronto to Quebec City in a 1,000-kilometre dedicated network.
