This is how our moon colonization phase begins | DW News

From DW News.

Artemis II is more than a launch — it’s a test of humanity’s next chapter in space. Four astronauts will fly around the Moon, testing the Orion spacecraft and life‑support systems in deep space for the first time with a crew on board. This mission proves we can travel safely beyond Earth orbit again — and do it differently than before. The crew represents a new era of exploration, setting the stage for Artemis IV, where astronauts are planned to return to the lunar surface, establish long‑term presence, and prepare for journeys even farther out. No landing yet — but every giant leap starts with a flyby.
