Some of France’s most symbolic vineyards are under threat from frost, with temperatures at one point dropping to -6 degrees Celsius. The harvest in the Burgundy region was cut in half due to frost in 2021, and winemakers are being forced to invest heavily in measures to protect their vines from the cold.
