In this Cosmic Queries episode, Neil deGrasse Tyson, with co-host Chuck Nice, discusses a question about asteroid 2024 YR4 and its potential interaction with Earth and the Moon. Tyson explains that while the asteroid has a very low chance of hitting Earth, it could possibly impact the Moon—but capturing it into orbit is extremely unlikely due to the need for complex gravitational interactions involving a third body.
