Pope Leo XIV arrives in Angola for a three-day visit to the oil-rich nation where around a third of the population lives in poverty. The US-born pontiff’s plane landed at around 3:00 pm (1400 GMT) in Luanda, the capital of the Portuguese-speaking nation that counts around 15 million Catholics, about 44 percent of the population.
