Albertans have changed their clocks for the last time.

A government source confirmed to Global News that the UCP government will make Daylight Saving Time permanent, with legislation coming later this week.

“We’re squished in between two provinces who no longer change their clocks. So the facts on the ground have changed and so we have to make a decision accordingly,” said Dale Nally, Red Tape Reduction Minister.
