There’s been a major breakthrough in robot technology in Beijing, where humanoid robots competed against humans in a half-marathon.

It’s the second time China has held this competition, after the humanoids struggled significantly last year.

But as Mike Armstrong explains, the fastest android from this edition finished the race faster than the human world record.
