Islamabad has been waiting for a week now for talks to resume between the US and Iran, but once again meetings have been scuppered.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi was in Pakistan on Saturday and presented Tehran’s "views and considerations" on ending the war.

The US had said its delegation was going to join him in Islamabad for talks, but that trip was quickly cancelled once the Iranian Foreign Minister left.
