Tensions remain high over the Strait of Hormuz as the US and Iran consider a two-week ceasefire extension to allow more time to negotiate a peace deal. The US hasn’t “formally requested an extension of the ceasefire,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters Wednesday. But she acknowledged “we remain very much engaged in these negotiations.” Bloomberg’s Joumanna Bercetche reports.
