‘Project Hail Mary’ has set a Guinness World Record thanks to aerospace experts Sent Into Space and a little LEGO set. On March 20, scientists used a high-altitude balloon system to bring the plastic payload — based on the book’s film adaptation — 34,988 metres above the Earth, into the stratosphere, and back down to the ground unscathed. The film’s directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, were later awarded certificates for the highest altitude launch and retrieval of a LEGO set. #ProjectHailMary #LEGO #Space
