Orthodox Christians attend an Easter mass at the Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza City. While the majority of Palestinians in the Strip are Muslim, a small group still adheres to the Christian faith. In August 2025, there were some 600 Catholic and Orthodox Christians in Gaza, including five priests and five nuns, according to the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
