Hungarian politician’s dance steals show after Peter Magyar’s victory | AFP

From AFP News Agency.

Hungarian politician Zsolt Hegedus stole the show with a wild dance on stage, just moments after the country’s Prime Minister-elect Peter Magyar delivered his victory speech after winning the parliamentary elections on 12 April.

Magyar pledged to usher in a "new era" after defeating long-time nationalist leader Viktor Orban in an election seen as a blow to hard-right populism.

The vote saw a record turnout and Magyar’s achievement received widespread international praise.
