Federal Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne provided Canadians with a snapshot of the state of the government’s finances in his spring economic update on Tuesday afternoon.

"If you ask me, what keeps me awake at night, is really how we can make sure that the affordability issue is one that we always have front and center," Champagne said shortly after he tabled the update.
