Dock workers in Tenerife are furious about Spain’s plans to disembark over 140 passengers from a Hantavirus-stricken cruise ship in the Canary Islands. Workers say authorities have left them in the dark about self-protection measures when the potentially infected passengers are brought ashore. Spanish emergency officials are confident about their precautionary measures and insist there is no risk of the virus spreading to the local population.
