From TODAY.
Actor and singer Harry Connick Jr. joins TODAY to talk about special projects he’s been working on to honor his late mother’s 100th birthday, including a book called “Babe: Elaboratio,” and a 50-minute symphony piece he created which he’ll be performing at New York’s Carnegie Hall. He opens up about why this performance at Carnegie Hall is so meaningful to his mother’s legacy, shares that the symphony is composed of three movements that represent different phases in her life, and reveals that there is also a documentary coming out about the project which will be directed by his daughter.
