Students, teachers, researchers and union members took to the streets in Argentina’s major cities to protest President Javier Milei’s funding cuts to the public university system. The government has refused to implement a law passed by Congress that would fund the education system and increase wages, arguing that it contradicts the government’s fiscal policy.
