Thousands of Israelis marked "Jerusalem Day" in celebration of what they see as the reunification of the city after Israel’s takeover from Jordan in 1967. During the state-sponsored event, many were seen chanting racist and anti-Arab slurs as they marched through the Muslim Quarter of the Old City.
