Following a call from Urgence Liban, several hundred people demonstrate in Paris, at Place de la République, in support of Lebanon, as a ten-day ceasefire came into effect on Friday between Lebanon and Israel. Nearly 2,300 people have been killed in Israeli strikes on Lebanon since the war began on 2 March, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. Despite the truce, Israel has vowed to level homes allegedly used by Hezbollah, with state media reporting demolitions already underway.
