British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Monday that the torching of London Jewish community ambulances overnight was a "horrific antisemitic attack" and that such hatred had no place in society.

"I think all of our thoughts will be with those in the vicinity, the residents who are understandably very concerned, a Jewish community across the country deeply concerned," he said.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan said he was in close contact with police, the Community Security Trust and emergency services, and vowed that "the full force of the law" would be used against those responsible. He said Jewish Londoners would see additional visible police patrols in and around their communities.

A member of the Jewish community, Dov Forman, said, "this isn’t the country that they want to live in going forward because they don’t feel that it’s safe." The community also challenged and tried to remove Al-Jazeera reporters from the scene.
