At least one suspect is still at large after taking multiple people hostage at a Sinzig, Germany bank on Friday.

The two hostages — which included one cash transport driver — were released unharmed after being locked in a room, a Koblenz Police spokesperson said.

“No other people were found in the building,” Officer Jurgen Fachinger said. “We currently assume that these individuals are the victims. No further suspects were found on the premises,” he added.

Fachinger told reporters the hostages were still in shock, adding that it was too early in the investigation to share further details.
