Police provide update after 3 people found dead in Brockville home, Ontario teen charged | LIVE

Brockville police are expected to provide an update on Friday after three people were found dead in a residence on Cartier Court in Brockville around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

A 17-year-old is facing charges of first-degree murder and assaulting a police officer.

Officers confirmed the incident was not random. They said the accused and the victims were known to eachother.

"This investigation is sensitive and complex," police said in a statement on the Brockville Police Service Facebook page. "We recognize the profound impact this incident has had on the families, loved ones, and the community."

The accused appeared in court on Friday morning. He remains in custody and is expected back in court on May 28.
