Difficult efforts to revoke Canadian citizenship of man convicted of terrorism offence

A man convicted in the U.S. and facing charges in India for allegedly helping to plan one of the world’s largest terrorist attacks is fighting to keep his Canadian citizenship.

Government documents obtained by Global News reveal allegations that Tahawwur Hussain Rana lied on his citizenship application over 25 years ago.

As Jeff Semple explains, revoking citizenship in Canada can take an extraordinarily long time.
