Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney rejected the premise of a reporter’s question in Ottawa on Monday, saying “if you can ask a factual question, you can get a factual answer,” after he was asked whether inflation and energy prices have “helped the books” following a previous claim that the deficit is lower than projected in the upcoming spring economic update.
