Backed by Amazon, Samsung, and General Catalyst, and operating inside a vertically integrated production facility that takes raw bars of metal in one end and ships finished robots out the other, Standard Bots is making the case that American manufacturing does not have to lose this race.

The question is whether the US moves fast enough to win it.
