Beijing says Myanmar’s deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi is an "old friend of China" while expressing concern about her situation. The comments come after bilateral meetings between Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi and Myanmar’s junta chief-turned-president Min Aung Hlaing in capital Naypyidaw over the weekend.
